Set in the heart of the beautiful Norfolk Broads, we are blessed with a wonderful array of flora and fauna.
We have 24 acres of grounds, which includes our own eight-acre meadow and small woodland.
Guests can meander through the formal gardens which give life and colour all through the seasons, from snowdrops and cherry blossom in the Spring, to lush green foliage and brightly-coloured flowers in the Summer and oranges, golds and browns with acorns and conkers in the Autumn.
We have over 50 species of trees from Limes, Beeches and Chestnuts to a Giant Canadian Redwood and Black Bamboo .
The gardens are kept as natural as possible to help support the wildlife and, if you are quiet and alert, the following can be seen - Deer, Barn Owls, Kingfishers, Woodpeckers, Long-tailed Tits and, of course, Squirrels and Stoats.
We also have an abundance of migratory birds using the Broad as a stop-off point on their travels and, if you are especially lucky, you might even see our resident Otter.
