Broader Horizons

At Broad House Hotel, we are very proud of the beautiful Norfolk Broads area in which we are situated. A short stroll through our grounds will bring you to the shore of Wroxham Broad and you will see for yourself just how stunning the landscape is.

The Broads area is located in Norfolk and Suffolk and is one of 11 National Parks found in England and Wales. Internationally recognized as an important habitat, it is home to wildlife found nowhere else in the country, such as the rare swallowtail butterfly. Its 303 square kilometres is comprised of a series of lakes, marshes and fenland, with more than 200km of navigable waterways., along which there are boatyards which hire out boats to visitors who come to the Broads to relax and get close to the natural world.

Whilst the Broads culture, landscape and peaceful atmosphere has a very special character all its own, there are also many other things to do during your stay at Broad House Hotel.

Our fine county capital city of Norwich with its cathedral and castle offers superb shopping, sightseeing, theatres, exhibitions, galleries and places to eat, while the Norfolk region boasts many pretty villages, coastline walks, National Trust properties, artists' studios, birdwatching and interesting attractions.

If you're after activity, then you will be spoilt for choice. Alternatively, if you just want to chill out in beautiful surroundings, then peace and contemplation looking out over the Norfolk Broads are just a stroll away.
