Amanda's Room

Amanda's Room is east facing at the front of the building and attracts the morning sun through its double windows.

Even though it is our smallest bedroom in the main house, it is light and airy with a spacious feel and is elegantly furnished and perfectly formed. The cream drapes that adorn both of the bedroom's sash windows and the head of the bed contrast effortlessly with the traditional teal walls. The ensuite bathroom is generous in size and its magnificent bath is the only bath retained from the original building. Before the alterations, this ensuite was part of Mr and Mrs Trafford's suite and has its very own G&T button positioned next to the bath, an amusing memento of the bygone Upstairs Downstairs life of the house!
