Broad House Hotel is the ideal location to meet with friends, family or colleagues for a bite to eat, whether it is one of our delicious light lunches or afternoon teas.
Lunches can be taken indoors or on warm days on the terrace where you can enjoy the gardens. We have a range of tasty light bites which will be cooked freshly to your order and served by our friendly and experienced staff. The British-style menu is a celebration of local Norfolk produce, from seasonal vegetables, herbs and fruits plucked from our very own garden or delivered daily by surrounding local suppliers, to quality meats and fish.
Our Afternoon tea menu is quintessentially English with sandwiches cut into fingers, scones with fresh cream and Norfolk preserves, a selection of cakes and biscuits and a range of speciality teas or coffees.
Equally, if you are planning an event at Broad House Hotel, such as a business meeting or a celebration, and would like some light refreshments served, then we can provide a tasty 'grazing' buffet. Here is a selection of the tempting nibbles from our Grazing Buffet Bites menu that could be combined for a buffet for your occasion:-
- Selection of Homemade tarts
- Local Norfolk pork pies
- Scotch eggs with homemade salad cream
- Cold marinated chicken skewers with aioli
- Selection of sliced Norfolk cured ham
- Mixture of dips with vegetable crisps and pitas
- Norfolk cheese and biscuits

- Chicken liver pate on toast with onion marmalade
- Tomato and olive salsa on melba toast with basil
- Mushroom pate in toast with Pipérade

- Smoked chicken and spinach terrine
- Pork and apricot terrine
- Char grilled garden vegetable terrines

- Lemon posset with shortbread

- Fruit jelly with compote

- Omelette (made with free range Dairy farm eggs)

Pan fried Smoked Salmon, fresh Tomato and Garden Leaves, Caper Mayonnaise- Roast Mushroom Sandwich
Roast Locally grown Flat Field Mushroom, topped with grilled Binham Blue Cheese thinly sliced Red Onion & Norfolk Preserves Brown Sauce- Slice of Cake
